The Setting
The setting is an anime world, based on a modern setting with some changes...
First: Humans aren't the only intelligent race. They coexist peacefully with anthropomorphic animals.
Second: Technology is a bit more advanced than we have in the real world right now. Things like hoverboards and cheap handheld PC's are pretty common (Actually, the latter is becoming true, as I see people using them in school these days! Hooray for how science fiction becomes science reality! Now when will we develop practical star drive, already, huh?). Also, humanoid robots and giant mecha are quite possible, if rare.
Third: Forces not covered by any known science also exist... Forces such as ki, and something you might call 'magic'. People who can use these forces are relatively uncommon, but there's probably a few in every town. Those who understand the inner workings of these forces are rarer still - There are perhaps only a few in the world with such knowledge at any one time.
The Story
The story follows the main characters as they live their lives in this alternate universe... The main characters include four children and three teenagers... There are others as well, but that would be spoiling some of the story... But I'll say now that strange things and the occasional adventure can happen in this alternate world... Sometimes involving other universes... other Infinities...
